Like its predecessor Antiquity, Contessa is a woven cut-pile velvet that has a mix of cotton acrylic and poly yarns, yet leans towards cotton velvet in its look and feel. The colours are trendy, the price excellent and with a 50 000 Martindale rub count, it is an obvious choice as a modern, sustainable fabric for both traditional and modern pieces.
