Notably Nordic’s motifs are reminiscent of the early 50s style of design house Marimekko.
Much like today, Scandinavian design was a major interior inspiration in the 1950s. Marimekko, in
particular, brightened up homes with its iconic large-scale overlapping abstract patterns in a mix
of vibrant and muted colours, combining the natural beauty of the Nordic landscape with a
homage to Japanese art. Our Notably Nordic collection continues this timeless trend by playing
with retro elements in a relevant and contemporary way. To complement the designs, we
resampled a few colours from our sought-after Giza and Yale linen blend fabric range, further
following the Nordic trend of combining natural and synthetic materials for longevity. We invite
you to mix and match these pleasing patterns for your couches, curtains and scatters for a
Notably Nordic interior space.
*Please note fabric colours may vary slightly. Before ordering your fabric online, we suggest you check the actual colours at one of our showrooms.
