Required to work ever second Saturday.

Main purpose of the job:
Builds constructive customer relationships and maintains the image and effective operations of the showroom in order to maximise the sales of fabric and homeware to achieve sales budget.

Requirements:
• National Senior Certificate
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or Interior Décor / Design (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in a retail environment
• Minimum 2 years people management experience

Main purpose of the job:
Drives the sales of merchandise and directs operational activities in the allocated region by supporting the showrooms and the sales consultants in order to achieve the sales budget and manage costs.

Full time Sales Consultant based on the road, affiliated to the Hertex showroom in Brooklyn, Pretoria.

Main purpose of the job:
Promotes and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers in the allocated area and develops new business in order to meet sales targets.

Requirements:
• National Senior Certificate
• Tertiary Certificate / Diploma in Sales & Marketing is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in an External sales environment
• Exposure to an interior Design / Décor environment is an advantage
• Must have valid drivers licence and own, reliable transport

Ideal candidate:
• Sales driven with proven track record
• Strong interest in Design & Décor

• Able to work independently
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills

Main duties:
• Visit customers according to contact plan, customer needs identified and advice provided on the appropriate selection, price and care of products
• Excellent product knowledge demonstrated, samples and product ranges demonstrated, replacement fabrics offered on discontinued ranges or out of stock items
• Special import ranges and additional products promoted and sold
• Sample books updated and discontinued ranges removed, new products, specials and promotions highlighted
• Sample books and partnership programmes sold
• Orders taken and referred to Sales Administrators
• Sales leads identified and contact made, client base increased and customer accounts opened according to policy
• Regular feedback on queries and delivery dates provided, issues and queries dealt with promptly and courteously, complaints managed and flagged with area manager
• Payment queries resolved with Finance, payments followed up
• Manage back order list

We require a full time Fabric Buyer to form part of our very busy Products Department. The successful candidate will be based at our head office in Bellville.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning, processing and selecting a range of products within budget.
• Source new merchandise and review existing items to ensure products remain competitive.
• Provide a commercially viable range of merchandise at competitive prices to ensure profit.
• Keeping up to date with market trends and reacting to changes in demand.
• Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
• Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract.
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
• Liaising with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed.
• Attending trade fairs, to select and assemble a new collection of products.
• Positive supplier relationships maintained.
• Ensure correct procedures are followed with ordering process & accurate execution.
• Monthly range review meetings with product team.
• Writing reports and forecasting sales levels.
• Presenting new ranges to sales staff
• Getting feedback from customers.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in relevant field (with preference given to Interiors/Textiles field)
• At least 3 – 5 years’ Buying experience in a similar role
• Very strong administrative and numerical skills
• Structured and very good attention to detail
• Computer Literate, with proficiency in MS Office (intermediate to advanced excel skills)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use own initiative and be proactive
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent planning and organising skills

HAUS Credit Controller

Description:
The finance team at Hertex is looking for an experienced credit controller within a retail environment to join our team.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12/Senior Certificate - with accounting as a subject passed
• Tertiary qualification in credit control or accounting - beneficial

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ credit control experience
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience

Duties:
Banking
• Allocating and importing of bank statement for HAUS account by ensuring receipts and store transactions scrutinised and allocated
• Processing refunds due to retail customers
• Processing of adjustments (credit notes/discounts/price differences)
• Irregularities identified and reported to management

Weekly and Monthly Reporting
• Monthly - Outstanding monies
• Monthly - Adjustments
• Weekly – outstanding invoices/credit balances
• Retail accounts reconciled and analysed

Deal with customer enquiries
• Respond to internal and external customer enquiries relating to invoices, POD’s, Recons etc.
• Enquiries dealt with timeously and referred to appropriate parties
• Knowledgeable of POS system and HAUS policies and procedures

Working hours: 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday

The main purpose of the position is to promote and sell retail products to customers according to procedures and the branding standards and guidelines.

We have a Showroom Assistant position available at our upmarket showroom in George. This is an exciting opportunity for a young individual who wants to gain valuable experience in the Décor and Design field.

The main purpose of the position is to help to maintain the image and effective operations of the showroom in order to maximise the sale of merchandise and to assist in the showroom in general.

The main functions of the job include:
• Support showroom operations by organising cuttings, sample hangers and books
• Support showroom customer service by assisting sales staff in the showroom as well as the Sales Consultants who are mainly out on the road servicing clients.
• Support showroom customer service by answering and directing calls, responding to enquiries, scanning appro’s in and out, liaising with clients to collect orders, refreshments offered and made for clients etc.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of the showroom, cuttings, and surrounding areas.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric certificate
• Previous experience working in a similar environment/assisting in a showroom (advantageous)
• Interest in Décor and Design
• Customer service orientated with good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Good administrative skills
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
