We have an exciting opportunity at our stand-alone HAUS store in Hazelwood, Pretoria.
Please note that this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs.
Main purpose of the job:
Ensure consistent implementation and upholding of policies and procedures. Ensure operational compliance and risk mitigation. Drive a motivated and energised store team. Drives sales of HAUS products through effective stock management, maintaining merchandising standards and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom.
Requirements:
• National senior certificate• At least 3 years sales and store leader experience in a retail environment (preferably for a luxury brand) with experience working on point of sale.
• Knowledge of homeware advantageous.
• Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
• Customer service focused and orientated.
• Highly sales driven and focused on achieving the end result.

Main duties:

Full time Sales Consultant based on the road, affiliated to Hertex showroom in Kramerville.
Main purpose of the job:
Promotes and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers in the allocated area and develops new business in order to meet sales targets.
Requirements:
• National Senior Certificate• Tertiary Certificate / Diploma in Sales & Marketing is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in an External sales environment
• Exposure to an interior Design / Décor environment is an advantage
• Must have valid drivers licence and own, reliable transport
Ideal candidate:
• Sales driven with proven track record• Strong interest in Design & Décor

Main duties:

• Special import ranges and additional products promoted and sold
• Sample books updated and discontinued ranges removed, new products, specials and promotions highlighted
• Sample books and partnership programmes sold
• Orders taken and referred to Sales Administrators
• Sales leads identified and contact made, client base increased and customer accounts opened according to policy
• Regular feedback on queries and delivery dates provided, issues and queries dealt with promptly and courteously, complaints managed and flagged with area manager
• Payment queries resolved with Finance, payments followed up
• Manage back order list

Main duties and responsibilities:
Stock Management
• Manage and forecast the intake of stock in line with agreed OTB stock levels.• Plan and implement replenishment volumes for continuity product.
• Monitor and manage the availability of stock.
• Promote stock efficiency through in season trading whilst managing forward covers.
• Collaborate with Supply chain to ensure planned launch and replenishment dates are met.
• Manage terminal stock.
Strategy
• Provide input into planning/buying process & strategy• Provide the correct information to ensure correct allocations
• Develop and agree plans in partnership with the buyer that achieve sales and profit targets and implement the agreed departmental strategy.
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business / Economics• At least 5 years retail experience
• Proven working experience as a Planner (5 years + essential)
• Previous experience working as a Homeware Planner highly advantageous
• Numerical, analytical and interpretive ability
• Efficient and accurate attention to detail
• Commercial understanding and a merchant mindset
• Computer Literate, with intermediate to advanced working experience on Excel
